  1. When I first watched “The Fountain”, I was so caught up in trying to figure it out, that I didn’t enjoy it too much. I was too frustrated with all of the confusion and possible explanations. I now agree that it is a beautiful movie and has some wonderful things to say, and it’s definitely a film that I will watch multiple times. Every time though, I may still have some frustration trying to figure it out. But some say that the best books are ones that you throw across the room, because at least they get you emotionally involved. Maybe it’s the same way with movies.
